Who we are
Matrium is a joint venture between the Airbus Group and LZA GmbH & Co. KG. We were established in 2003, primarily with the aim of bundling the Airbus Group’s comprehensive knowledge of materials management at its Immenstaad, Ulm and Unterschleissheim sites (Olching since 2018) in one lean, market-oriented unit.
We are proud of what we have achieved so far: Our number of employees and turnover have more than trebled since we first set up in business and the number of customers has multiplied, as has our industry excellence. New services have been developed as part of a continuous improvement process, integrated into client projects in a focused way and gradually perfected as a modular, customer-centric, full-service concept.
Today, we are an established player in quality logistics and a partner for leading enterprises. This success is based on the typical virtues of the SMEs that make up the German “Mittelstand” – and the deep-rooted conviction that quality is the essence of good performance and the work of outstanding employees.
